Overview

Some users of Kerio Connect may encounter an issue where they are unable to delete emails from shared folders, despite having the necessary permissions (account delegation or edit/owner rights over the shared folder). 

The error encountered is Server error. Failed to move item to folder %2. You don't have rights to do this.

Solution

A temporary workaround has been found which involves sharing the Deleted Items folder. Here are the steps to follow, based on Sharing Email Folders in Kerio Connect Client/Webmail:

1. Have the sharing user access their Kerio Connect account.
2. Navigate to the Deleted Items folder and select Sharing
3. Click the plus sign to add a new Sharing Target

This should allow you to delete emails from the shared folders. Please note that this is a temporary solution until a more permanent fix is provided.
