If you are wondering why you have a difference between the number of active and created mailboxes in the Kerio Connect web admin GUI > Status page, this article is for you!
The License details tile holds information related to your License key, and also related to the number of users on the server as follows:
- The number of active mailboxes depicts the number of users active from the last server restart
- The number of created mailboxes depicts the total number of created and enabled accounts on the server
The above difference is related to the fact that some users may have not accessed their email following a server restart.
The difference in between the 2 counters relates to whether active and enabled users have logged into their mail account after a server restart or not.
How does deactivating a mailbox reflect in the mailbox counters?
Deactivating a mailbox will reduce the number of created mailboxes. More details can be found here: Removing Inactive Users from Your License.
How can I make all mailboxes active?
This is only a matter of the users logging in/accessing their email account. In order to have all mailboxes showing as active, you need to ask users to login to their account.
