Overview
If you are trying to configure Kerio Connect to use a different DNS server, separate from the one used by the operating system, this article is aimed at clarifying this topic!
Information
Kerio Connect does not have it's own internal DNS server, and instead relies on the DNS server of the hosting operating system. Because of this, it is not possible to set up an alternative DNS server for Kerio Connect to use specifically.
Depending on the DNS server of the operating system, you may be able to implement some conditional DNS forwarding, however, this would be out of support scope.
Summary
While it may be desirable to use a different DNS server for specific tasks, Kerio Connect does not support this functionality. The DNS server used by Kerio Connect is determined by the operating system settings and cannot be changed independently.
