After a backup restoration, some folders, such as Public Contacts and Calendars, are not visible, even though they can be found in the internal server files. During server migration, the internal files become out of sync with the email clients' data.
Access to Kerio Connect Administration
To make the Public folder visible, they need to be reindexed:
- Log in to Kerio Connect administration
- Go to the Configuration > Domains > Public Folders.
- Click Reindex folders.
After the reindexing is finished, please check in Kerio Connect Client and Outlook or other clients that the Public Folders are now shown.
If the folders are visible in Kerio Connect Client, but not in Outlook, you will also need to clear the Outlook cache:
- Open Outlook.
- Go to Account settings.
- Double-click the account and click Maintenance.
- Click Empty Cache.
