Customers may reach out to us to report that they are receiving an error when trying to send a message using Mailbird.
Mailbird was unable to send the message. Please check your 'From' identity's outgoing server settings.
Authenticate as SSL/TLS client failed.
You might be connecting to non SSL/TLS port -or- using incorrect SSL/TLS version. Consider using TLS 1.2:client.SSLConfiguration.EnabledSslProtocols = SslProtocols.Tls12;

Process
- Click Open Settings from the error message window.
- Change the Encryption from SSL/TLS to STARTTLS then click Test Connection to verify the settings.
Confirmation
You should now be able to successfully send a message using the Mailbird client.
