Overview
When updating the Antivirus in Kerio Connect, it fails with the below error seen in the logs:
AntivirusModule.cpp: Antivirus Server error(0): Version info doesn't contain required location
Solution
- This error occurs when there are issues with Kerio Connect's Antivirus update servers.
- It is resolved by Kerio Connect's team within a couple of hours.
- So, you can try manually updating the Antivirus after a couple of hours by using the
Update Now...
button in the Kerio Connect interface. Refer to the Configuring Antivirus Protection in Kerio Connect article for more information.
Note: This error can also sometimes occur if there are missing parameters from your license information on our backend, which may cause issues with updates. To check, please contact Support if the above recommended solution does not work.
<supportagent>Agents: This error can also occur when specific KISS fields from the customer's license are blank (Fields Inform about SWM expiration and CC distributor). See ticket #3507529 for reference. The solution is to access the license in KISS > Change registration data > click Save (no changes need to be done, the necessary fields are automatically populated). After the aforementioned KISS fields are populated, it can take a bit until the information propagates, but eventually, the error no longer occurs and the Antivirus is updated.</supportagent>
Testing
The Antivirus should update successfully.
If the Antivirus still doesn't update after some time, then, open a Support request regarding the same.
