Overview
When updating the Antivirus in Kerio Connect, it fails with the following multiple errors seen in the logs (some or all of these). You may see that your test installation of KerioConnect updates without any issues.

AntivirusModule.cpp: Antivirus update failed: Unable to fetch updates: Unknown_Error (-3000)
AntivirusModule.cpp: Antivirus Server error(0): Unable to fetch updates: Unknown_Error (-3000)
Bitdefender_plugin: Cannot find update location: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to bdupdate.kerio.com:443 . Download failed with status: 2 and sub status 0.
Solution
Please reset Antivirus internal folders by following the Resolving Bitdefender issues guide. The deletion of Bitdefender folder should fix the issue. Please be aware that redownload will take some time (approx 10-15 minutes based on download speed).
If you get an error at re-download (e.g. error: Cannot find update location: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to bdupdate.kerio.com:443 . Download failed.), please check that the below links are not blocked . You may try to open the links in the browser and if the Kerio Connect server is behind a firewall, allow HTTPS connection to the following (Note: If only HTTPS connection doesn't solve the problem, you can also try to open HTTP port):
- bdupdate.kerio.com
- bdupdate-cdn.kerio.com
- update.kerio.com
If the above does not work, please debug logs with the Antivirus Checking enabled while trying to update the Antivirus plugin and share the same on a new Kerio Connect request. (You may already enable it while performing the above steps as well)
