You would like to know if Kerio has the ability to store blocked emails for review before individually forwarding legitimate emails to the intended recipient.
Solution
Yes, Kerio has the ability to store blocked emails for review.
To do so please follow these instructions:
- Create a new mailbox/email address that is specific to temporarily storing blocked emails for review (e.g. "quarantine@domain.com").
- Input this mailbox in the Configuration > Content Filter > Spam Filter settings under “forward the message to the quarantine address” field.
All blocked spam emails will then be forwarded to this address. If you find that a legitimate email was blocked, you can find it in the mailbox and forward it to the intended recipient of that email.
To avoid the email getting blocked again while forwarding to the intended recipient, you may add a custom rule. Custom rules can be accessed by going to Configuration > Content Filter > Spam Filter > Custom Rules. You can then add a new rule. Please see the screenshot below for an example:
