You are experiencing major performance issues with email for many users. People are unable to connect or it is very delayed.
Check for mailboxes with large folders. These are the typical culprit in performance issues.
- We recommend a 20GB limit for mailboxes with all folders having less than 10,000 items.
- If any folders have more than 10,000 items, we recommend splitting them into subfolders.

If troubleshooting on the server is difficult due to a major performance impact, follow the steps mentioned in Server Webmail is overloaded or inaccessible.
