While editing the company location domain, the message about Failed to set domain <domain_name> for company location <LocationName>, the company location is used for another domain is being displayed.

Diagnosis

When the company location is set to a specific domain and the user contacts info is already set to that company location, you cannot modify the company location to use another domain.

The Kerio Connect user database will inform the administrator about the mismatching configuration. It is the designed behavior of the product.

Solution

If you want to set the same location for multiple domains (for example, kerio.com and test.local), set the existing company location to "Not specified, contact will be applied to all domains".

If different domains and their respective users should use individual (separate) company locations, create a second company location for the necessary domain.
