Overview

This article provides information about SpamAssassin Bayes internal folder structure. This information is needed when a customer asks what files/folders can be deleted safely.

Information

The correct file and folder structure contains only three main files:

• auto-whitelist.db
• bayes.db
• bayes.db-journal

All other files/folders if present, can be safely deleted. For example, the files marked in the blue rectangle in the image below can be deleted.

To view *.db files, you can use DB Browser for SQLite.
