Webmail Error: Failed to get Instance/Occurrence

Overview

When a user is logging in to Kerio Connect Webmail or accessing their Calendar in Webmail, either of the below errors is seen:

Failed to get instance - no instance with ID
keriostorage://occurrence/<domain-name>/<username>/<some-ID>/nnn/<timestamp>
Failed to get an occurrence, there is no occurrence of ID
keriostorage://occurrence/<domain-name>/<username>/<some-ID>/nnn/<timestamp>

 

Solution

Note: As a part of the below steps, whenever renaming index.fld file to index.bad, also rename the search.fld file to search.bad.

  1. If the issue is seen only when the user is accessing the Calendar folder, then, re-index only the Calendar folder and verify if the issue is no longer there.
  2. If the issue persists and/or the issue is seen when the user is logging in, then, re-index all of the user's folders.
