Enabling Notifications in Kerio Connect Client

Overview

Kerio Connect Client can remind you about upcoming events and tasks using Reminders; new emails, new chat messages, and upcoming events and tasks using Desktop Notifications or pop-up notifications, depending on your browser.

Note: Kerio Connect Client (KCC) and Webmail number notification, so-called badges count, is counting only INBOX folder unread emails plus reminders.

Note 2: Sound notifications. Please note that the client is currently designed to only provide sound notifications for tasks and events, not for emails. A feature request (GFIPEF-363) is already created for it.

This article provides detailed information about the Reminders and the Desktop Notifications in Kerio Connect Client. Furthermore, the article also explains the following processes:

    • These Reminders are enabled by default.

    • A sound can accompany Reminders.

  • The bell icon in the top bar shows the number of events that:
    • Have already started (grayed out).
    • Are about to start.
  • You can dismiss the Reminders so that you no longer see them, or you can postpone them.
  • If you have more than one Reminder, then you can select DISMISS MISSED or DISMISS ALL.
