Webmail does not show "Shared folders" section or the shared folders are not loading

Answer

Overview

  • Webmail and KCC does not show the "Shared Folders" section
  • Also, an error might pop up when users login to their accounts: "Failed to get shared folders, server error"
  • Error log or debug log with "Delegation" messages enabled might show SQLite errors, without pointing to a specific file
  • While webmail/KCC exhibits the issue, all seems to be working fine with KOFF and/or other clients (Android mail, iOS mail, Apple Mail)

Procedure

  1. Stop Kerio Connect service (Windows, macOS, and Linux)
  2. Navigate to the Kerio Connect mailstore folder, by default:
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\store\mail
    • Linux: opt/kerio/mailserver/store/mail
    • MacOS: usr/bin/kerio/mailserver/store/mail
  1. Move the following files to an external directory.
NOTE: the below files may not be visible in macOS/Linux, as they are inherently hidden. If you are unable to see those files, you can either use a Terminal session to achieve the file movement, or enabling macOS/Linux flags to display hidden files in the UI.
    • .caldav.db
    • .caldav.db.bak
    • .carddav.db
    • .carddav.db.bak
  2. Start Kerio Connect server and allow a bit of time for the files to be recreated by the service
Choose files or drag and drop files
