Configuring Log Settings in Kerio Connect

Overview 

Review logs and get information about certain events, such as error and warning reports and debugging information, specifically when troubleshooting performance issues.

Solution

  1. Click the Logs icon located on the left side of the Kerio Connect administration interface.
  2. Click on a log type you want to view. The log entries are displayed in the main window.
  3. Right-click the main logs window and select Log Settings.

  4. Specify regular saves of individual logs, the size, and the number of saved files.

    You can also enable external logging to a Syslog server.

Information about log settings is recorded in the Config log.

The default location of the log files varies by platform:

  • Windows — C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\store\logs
  • Mac OS X — /usr/local/kerio/mailserver/store/logs
  • Linux — /opt/kerio/mailserver/store/logs
