Overview

This article covers the steps to change SMTP Banners within Kerio Connect and should be followed by administrators who want to make sure that no extra information is displayed to non-authenticated users.

Process

1. In Kerio Connect's administration console, go to Settings > Advanced Options.
2. Choose the Miscellaneous tab.
3. Uncheck the option Show program name and version in network communications for non-authenticated users.
   
   
   
   
4. Restart the Kerio Connect.

Confirmation

Once Kerio Connect restarts, the new configuration will be applied.
