Overview

Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) is a protocol that allows a desktop or mobile device to synchronize data with Exchange mailboxes.

This article guides you on how to create and configure the Kerio Connect Profile via Exchange ActiveSync in Outlook.

Process

1. Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account.
   
   
   
   
2. Choose Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
   
   
3. Choose Exchange ActiveSync and click Next.
   
   
4. Type all the necessary information and click Next.
   
   
   Note: default mail to keep offline can be selected as All, 1 month, 3, and 12 months depending on the storage occupied.
   
5. In case you see a Security Alert message regarding SSL certificate, just click Yes to accept a Self-signed SSL certificate.

6. Once the process has been completed, click Close.
   
   
7. Uncheck Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too and click Finish.
